Biology
The sixline wrasse is covered in a characteristic pattern of longitudinal lines, and grows up to 10 centimetres. Forms small groups that inhabit coral reefs from shallow waters to 20 metres, and feeds on small crustaceans.
Conservation
It is very popular both with commercial fisheries and as aquarium fish, but their capture for these purposes is not considered a threat to these populations.
