Architectural culture commitment: the power of transformation of the weak force

Pedro Campos Costa is founder and managing partner of Campos Costa Architects, and he has developed R&D projects such as Oceanário de Lisboa Extension or the Ozadi Tavira Hotel extension which, in 2015, earned him one of the most important architecture awards of Iberian Peninsula, the FAD Awards.

He develops projects in different areas, such as curatorial and stage design projects, art installations and research projects.

Pedro Campos Costa is guest lecture in several schools across the world and organizes national and international workshops.

Editor in different architectural magazines in Portugal and Italy, won several prizes, like the A. Prize 2012 Exposynergy by Milan Triennial, an Honorable Mention of Valmor Prize by Lisbon City Hall with the Oceanário de Lisboa extension, the Europe 40 under 40 2012, by European Center for Architecture Art Design or the prize Next Generation, by Metropolis Magazine New York.

In 2014, Pedro Campos Costa was the curator of the Portuguese Official Representation at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia.
